Nau’Jour ‘Toosii’ Grainger argues that fame should be earned talent, hard work, and contributions to the industry. He believes that many females associated with rappers gain fame without showcasing their own skills or accomplishments which can dilute the value of genuine talent. For Toosii it’s essential that public attention is directed toward those who actually create, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to the art form.

Many fans believe that Toosii was indirectly addressing his baby mama, Samaria J. Davis, during his Instagram Live rant, especially after she tweeted that some of his comments resonated with their past relationship.
Like I got my shit off my chest with him already!! Don’t nobody got to tell me to take shit up with him. That’s been handled. But what you not finna do is antagonize me every day about him and then when I speak up, I’m the mad one.
