Tory Lanez’s imprisonment hasn’t stopped his harassment of Megan Thee Stallion, according to her, so she’s back in court to battle him once more. On Wednesday (12/17), the court named Daystar “Tory Lanez” Peterson and blogger Milagro Cooper as aggressors. Lanez is accused of using Cooper “as his mouthpiece” to curate false narratives online, according to Legal Affairs and Trials with Meghan Cuniff.
“In one phone call, the Petersons confidently asserted that Ms. Pete would be unable to prove that Mr. Peterson paid Defendant for attacking Ms. Pete,” Megan’s lawyers said, according to an amended complaint. Besides the first complaint, Pete and his team added a defamation claim to their case against Cooper and Lanez. She also filed a petition for an injunction prohibiting Cooper “from committing any acts of stalking and providing any terms the court deems necessary for the protection of a victim of stalking, including possible law enforcement involvement.”
Megan also filed a request for a restraining order, she provided the judge with a detailed account of the several months of abuse she has suffered from Tory. Tory, as we all know, is currently serving a 10-year sentence in California for shooting Megan at her feet back in 2020.
According to the court documents, Megan claims that Tory employs an army of bloggers, including Elizabeth Milagro Cooper, seen above. Meg sued Elizabeth a few months ago. She asserted that Elizabeth disseminated disparaging remarks about her. Meg’s lawyers have subpoenaed the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to obtain recordings of his jail phone calls with Elizabeth Cooper. Copper, an X user, has nearly 30k followers. Megan claimed that she consistently shared false information about her and acted as a spokesperson for Lanez. Saying she spread false information about the shooting. Among the untrue content Milagro has posted—according to Meg—is a totally artificial video that Meg’s lawyers claim shows the star engaged in sexual acts.
They say the video has caused Megan severe emotional distress and reputational harm. Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ that Megan Thee Stallion’s legal team has more proof connecting Tory and the blogger who’s been bashing her.
TMZ revealed that Tory’s father allegedly made several payments totalling $3000 to Elizabeth Milagro Cooper between October 2020 and March 2022. Megan’s attorneys will present the records in both the restraining order case and the lawsuit she filed against Cooper.
Do you think Megan was right for filing this restraining order or was it too overboard?
